Volvo Prices 2018 XC60

The all-new 2018 Volvo XC60 has been priced at $42,495 when it goes on sale this fall. The new price constitutes a $550 increase over the base price of the existing XC60 crossover, but the new one looks so much better and has more standard equipment.

Aside from the handsome design borrowed from the successful XC90 crossover, the base XC60 yields buyers 18-inch wheels, LED headlights, a panoramic sunroof, leather and a 10-way power driver’s seat standard. Volvo is even including a dual-zone climate control and power liftgate in base configuration.

The base XC60 is powered by Volvo’s turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with 250 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. That power flows through an eight-speed automatic transmission.

XC60 buyers may opt for the T6 trim for $45,895. The T6 is powered by a 2.0-liter engine as well, though this one is supercharged and turbocharged, yielding 316 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque.

Those wanting even more power can opt for the XC60 T8 plug-in hybrid. It uses the T6’s engine but adds an electric motor to assist it to power ratings of 400 horsepower and 472 pound-feet of torque. The T8’s price tag starts at $53,895.
