A photo of the all-new Lexus ES may have just unofficially leaked out, but now we have an official teaser. Lexus issued the above photo to preview what it plans to reveal at the Beijing Motor Show later this month, which will likely be the new ES.
The ES, like many Toyota products, will be switching to the automaker’s new TNGA architecture. The switch will enable a slightly larger ES sedan with improved driving dynamics. It’s expected the ES will retain its 3.5-liter V-6 with the new model, but this time the power will bump up to the Camry’s 301 horsepower rating.
From a design perspective, the above shot shows the new ES will be taking on Lexus’ latest design theme. The crop is so tight on this teaser it’s hard to see much, but the now infamous spindle grille appears to be in tow. That said, Lexus appears to be keeping with ES tradition by not going too bold on its stately sedan.
Expect the all-new Lexus ES to be revealed around April 25th in Beijing.
