Lexus has used Detroit to preview its next generation crossovers with the LF-1 Limitless Concept. Lexus calls this their Luxury Flagship, which likely means the next generation RX.
The design is very similar to Lexus’s current design theme, though brought to the extreme with an even later grill and stronger angled lines all over the concept. The overall profile features a long hood, reminiscent of a rear wheel drive car.
Powertrain wise, Lexus is giving any details. However, the luxury car maker says it could be powered by gasoline, hybrid, plug-in hybrid, fuel cell, or all-electric. The company says every Lexus model will either be a dedicated electric or have the option by 2025.
Although trying to be a sporty crossover, it also features autonomous technology for when the driver wants to relax.
Look for the LF-1 Limitless to inspire Lexus’s future crossover designs soon.
