Facelifted 2018 Lexus NX Debuting In Shanghai

Lexus has officially confirmed plans to reveal a refreshed 2018 NX crossover at the Shanghai Auto Show. Along with the announcement, the luxury brand released the above teaser of the radically designed crossover, which doesn’t really tell us much with regards to the refreshed design.

The NX is already a fairly modern looking crossover, despite the fact it debuted about three years ago in China. The compact crossover segment is hot these days, so it comes as little surprise that Lexus is trying to keep its entry into the segment fresh.

Lexus is really only saying that the NX will have an “updated exterior design” which seems to confirm the changes will be modest at best. It’s likely the brand has only changes the soft-points of the design, such as the fascias and lamps, which is typical of a refresh.

Lexus did go on to say the NX would have new enhancements on the interior, so you can assume the latest features will be added to this crossover too.

I wonder how accurate that image is?

EDIT: Actually I get it now. It's a "deconstructed" image of the parts that go up to make the front clip. Probably a screen cap from a video.

I did the same thing myself I was in shock but after looking at it I agree looks like a cap from a video.
