The Model S isn’t the only Tesla product seeing a refresh. Tesla has confirmed many of the changes found on the Model S will carryover to the Model X as well, including the bizarre steering wheel thing.
Model X sees an interior that is nearly identical to the Model S. This means a new, horizontal 17-inch display serves as the centerpiece of the interior. A smaller gauge cluster display remains as well, just like the Model S. Of course, resting before that gauge cluster screen is this strange new steering yoke.
Also like the Model S, the exterior of the Model X is seeing modest changes. Tesla has revised the front fascia and rear diffuser designs, but generally the exterior is carryover of today’s design.
Tesla is also launch a new Model X Plaid trim level. The new Plaid comes with a whopping 1,020 horsepower and hit zero to 60 mph in 2.5 seconds. Plaid buyers will enjoy 340 miles of range, while the base Long Range model will offer 360 miles. Model X Plaid deliveries are expected to start in April. Interested buyers will have to shell out $119,990 for it.
