General Motors has announced an extension of its long term agreement with SiriusXM through 2027. The deal includes adding SiriusXM satellite radio to nearly every Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet and GMC model starting in model year 2021.

As part of the deal extension, GM and Sirius will continue to offer a three-month trial of SiriusXM All Access to nearly every buyer of a new GM product. In addition, GM is committing to increasing the number of vehicles equipped with SiriusXM 360L, the company’s product that combines satellite based content with over-the-top, on-demand content. GM recently added SiriusXM 360L to the 2021 Cadillac CT4 and CT5 models.

GM was the first automaker to include SiriusXM radio functionality in its vehicles back in 2002, so it comes as little surprise the OEM is maintaining its relationship with the content provider for the long-haul.
