Infiniti just showed us a concept version of the next-generation QX60 last week, but the interior wasn’t part of the viewing. Well, we’re getting a look at the alleged real-deal now thanks to a random post on Instagram.
Posted by an account called “cars_secrets” and first noticed by Motor1, the image shows a largely undisguised view of the 2022 QX60 interior. It’s an interior that is significantly more modern than anything in the Infiniti portfolio today, with a free-standing infotainment display resting atop a leather-wrapped dash. In fact the slender vents and horizontal design theme almost remind one of the Lincoln Aviator interior.
Infiniti appears to be transitioning the QX60 to touch sensitive controls, based on the appearance of the control panel under the infotainment display. Subsequently, there’s a modern, electronic gear selector in the center console.
While not immediately viewable, what is shown of the steering wheel suggests it’s nearly the same unit found in the redesigned Nissan Rogue.
Rumors suggest the 2022 QX60 will be powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter with 268 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque, though that is unconfirmed.
