Mercedes Debuts Refreshed Ultraluxury Maybach Sedan

Given the Mercedes-Benz S Class was recently refreshed for 2018, it only makes sense the super-luxury Mercedes-Maybach version of the car get some upgrades as well. These updates include a new grille design and paint schemes.

While the changes are minor, the new grille is noteworthy. Mercedes has switched to a new vertical slot grille design on the Mercedes-Maybach S560 and S650. The new design was first seen on the Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6 coupe concept shown at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in 2016. A follow up concept at the same event showed off the grille as well.

The new grille design is combining with new paint schemes that include two-tone finishes, an iconic trait for Maybach models. Combined, the Maybach models are going to show off their exclusiveness more thanks to these updates.

Mercedes will formally reveal the revised Maybach models at next month’s Geneva Motor Show. Both the S560 and S650 will be on sale in the U.S. later this year.
