Kia has taken to social media to tease its upcoming EV9 Concept. The concept is slated to debut later this week on Nov. 11th and will preview the brand’s flagship battery-electric model.

The teaser image is about as vague as they come. It’s simply a silhouette drawing of the EV9 Concept, but it does validate a few things for us. First, it confirms this is going to be a large SUV. In fact, it looks like it is nearly Telluride size. The drawing also seems to indicate the EV9 will be boxier than some of Kia’s recent SUV designs; again, more like the Telluride than the Sorento.

Earlier this year when Kia announced some of its electrification plans it hinted at a flagship model. The EV9 is expected to be that flagship. Like nearly all of Hyundai and Kia’s EV’s, the EV9 is likely based on the company’s E-GMP architecture.

Kia says it will also announce further details about its commitment to sustainability during the reveal on Nov. 11th. It’s anyone’s guess what that will be about. Nonetheless, stay tuned later this week to see the Kia EV9 Concept and other announcements they may make.
