Hyundai has dropped its first official photos of the 2019 Santa Fe ahead of its scheduled debut at the Geneva Motor Show. The images show off a larger Santa Fe that’s wearing a premium new look and packed with new features.
As expected, the new Santa Fe is getting the latest family design theme. This means the small lamps and large grille found on the Kona and i30 are making their way to the Santa Fe. The new face blends into sheetmetal that looks more upscale and more SUV-like in appearance from today’s version.
Inside buyers will find an overall interior design that is an evolution of today’s Santa Fe. The same dual-cockpit layout is present, but a larger infotainment screen centers a dash panel that looks more upscale than today’s Santa Fe innards.
Hyundai has not released details on the 2019 Santa Fe just yet, but we do know it will feature a host of new technology. Among the list of new tech is a Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist system, which will apply the brakes if a rear collision appears likely. A new Safety Exit Assist will also lock the doors if the vehicle detects a vehicle approaching from the rear.
Expect more details on the new Santa Fe to be released during its formal debut next month.
I wonder if there's a Red & Green interior option? Perhaps a "Mistletoe Edition" ?
It's not jolly and red that's for sure
