Acura Teases New TLX Ahead Of NYC Debut

Acura has confirmed plans to reveal the 2018 TLX at next month’s New York Auto Show. As part of the confirmation, the company has also released the first official photo of the car (seen above), which is actually confirming quite a bit about this refreshed TLX.

The most notable aspect of the 2018 TLX appears to be its new face. Like the MDX, the TLX will be adopting the grille first displayed on the Precision Concept that Acura showed at last year’s Detroit Auto Show. The teaser shot also appears to confirm the fact the car will have LED headlights.

Given this is a refresh job, the rest of the TLX body is probably fairly similar to today’s model. The sheet metal in particular is probably unchanged.

Aside from the teaser, Acura hasn’t said anything official about the car. It is likely the TLX will gain some additional power and a few more cogs in its automatic transmission. The interior, too, will likely be revised.

Expect all the details on the 2018 Acura MDX on April 11th.

Weird looking grill didn't work well on the MDX in my opinion. It's even worse on the multiple spy shots of this car posted all over the internet either.
