Chevrolet has been dropping teasers of its upcoming 2022 Chevrolet Bolt EUV for awhile now. Today the teasing continues with a 15-second spot that features the hitchhiking ghosts from Disney’s Haunted Mansion. Chevrolet is teaming up with Walt Disney World to reveal the Bolt EUV later this month.

The new spot doesn’t show us a lot about the new Bolt EUV, but we were able to capture the below screenshot that gives a clear view of the EUV’s profile. While blurry, the profile looks strikingly similar to the Bolt EV. Given it is based on the Bolt EV and shares its name, that isn’t a total surprise. It does appear the Bolt EUV is slightly longer than the Bolt EV, which aligns with the notion it will be the Bolt EV’s big brother.

Both the redesigned 2022 Bolt EV and new Bolt EUV will be based on GM’s BEV3 architecture. This architecture underpins today’s Bolt EV, meaning total driving range on the 2022 models will likely be similar to the Bolt’s current 259 mile rating. The new Bolt is also included in GM’s total count of 20 new battery-electric models by 2023. Other upcoming models will be based on GM’s new Ultium battery system, including the 2022 GMC Hummer EV and Cadillac Lyriq.

GM has already confirmed the 2022 Bolt EUV will feature the brand’s Super Cruise hands-free driving technology. It will be among the first GM vehicles to receive the technology outside of the Cadillac brand.

Expect all of the details on the 2022 Chevrolet Bolt EUV on February 14th, when Chevrolet will reveal it virtually from Walt Disney World.
