2019 Cadillac ATS-V Sees Price Increase in Final Year

Cadillac has decided to hike the price of its ATS-V Coupe in its last year production. The price increase is a substantial one, but may actually make the ATS-V a better deal.

According to Cars Direct the 2019 ATS-V Coupe will come in at $68,790, including a $950 destination charge. The price tag yields around a $4,000 increase over the 2018 model, which is obviously more than the usual model year pricing changes.

However, there’s a catch. Cadillac has decided to offer its Carbon Fiber Package as standard fare on all 2019 ATS-V Coupes. In previous models, buyers had to fork over $5,000 to get carbon fiber bits on their ATS-V. So the $4,000 hike may not be such a bad deal after all.

The new price point will position the ATS-V a couple hundred bucks more than the Mercedes-AMG C63 Coupe and $1,355 less than the base BMW M4.

Of course, nothing else is changing with the ATS-V. It will still be powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter V-6 with 464 horsepower and 445 pound-feet of torque that can funnel through a six-speed manual or optional eight-speed automatic.

It’s also worth noting that Cadillac has discontinued the ATS sedan for 2019, meaning these changes are only applying to the coupe.
