Buick is readying a revamped version of its Enclave crossover. Today the brand announced plans to roll out a refresh of the 2022 Enclave, bringing it a more modern appearance. The new look also aligns with the recently-launched 2021 Envision.

Aside from photos, Buick isn’t offering much in terms of information. The 2022 model will feature a new front clip design with a much bolder grille design and more modern headlights. The new face aligns very closely with a revised brand appearance that’s evident with the smaller Envision.

The Enclave’s rear fascia is also revised for 2022 with new taillights. Aside from the revised appearance, the 2022 Enclave will likely feature an updated feature list. No changes are expected to its powertrain or interior design.

The fact GM is refreshing the Buick Enclave for 2022 model year isn’t a huge surprise. The Enclave’s sibling, the Chevrolet Traverse, is also getting a refresh for 2022. In fact, the Traverse’s refresh was originally slated for 2021, but pushed back due to COVID-19. Both crossovers are built at GM’s Lansing Delta Township assembly plant.

The 2022 Buick Enclave is slated to go on sale later this year.
