The current Buick Enclave isn’t that old yet, but Buick is sprucing up one of its most-popular SUVs. For 2022 the Enclave features a refreshed exterior and some minor interior changes to stay competitive in a fiercely competitive segment.

This refresh really seems to be about ensuring the Enclave looks like Buick’s latest products. There’s a new front clip that is edgier than the existing Enclave and more in line with the newer Envision and Encore GX. Around back Buick has toned down on the amount of red in the taillights, also giving the Enclave a more modern appearance. Top-tier Enclave Avenir buyers continue to receive a unique exterior appearance as well.

Buick has kept the changes more modest inside the Enclave. The center console has been restyled, including the addition of a new push-button gear selector.

Another headliner for the new Enclave is the addition of more standard features. Buick is giving all Enclave buyers automatic braking, front pedestrian braking, lane keep assist, side blind zone alert, rear park assist, forward collision alert, following distance indicator, rear cross-traffic alert and auto high-beams. While the list is impressive, there is a notable omission that some competitors offer: adaptive cruise control.

Additionally, the 2022 Enclave will support wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto functionality.

The 2022 Buick Enclave will arrive in dealerships this fall. Expect pricing to be announced closer to launch.
