The next-generation Ford Focus has been caught completely camo-free at an official photo shoot. While photos were getting taken of the car at this time, this photo was one that clearly wasn’t supposed to be snapped.
A reader of Vezess snapped the photo in Cascais, Portugal during what appears to be Ford taking glamor shots of the new car. Given the woman’s reaction in the photo, it’s rather obvious there was some frustration with the photo being taken.
The all-new Focus is slated for reveal at an event in April. While the reveal will show us everything, this photo is confirming that the new Focus is sporting a completely different look than today’s model. The body is sleeker and cleaner than the current Focus.
There’s also speculation that the blue hatchback in this photo is possibly an ST model. The badge on the fender and red brake calipers are certainly leading indicators.
Ford will rollout the new Focus in Europe first and then arrive in the U.S. sometime in 2019. This version of the Focus will be imported from China when it ultimately arrives.
That's a good looking Mazda 3.
