Will Dodge Offer A Post-Demon Angel?

The folks over at Fiat Chrysler Authority have uncovered an interesting trademark filing. According to their findings FCA has trademarked the name ANGEL for vehicle use.

Full disclosure: trademark filings often mean nothing and are never used, but this one is fun to speculate given the Hellcat and Demon monikers are already used. The theory here is that perhaps the next-generation Challenger will offer an Angel variant; the spiritual successor to the Hellcat and Demon. Switching satan for saint?

The idea is fun, nonetheless. The next-generation Challenger is due out sometime around 2020 (unless delayed again). Built on FCA’s Giorgio platform that underpins the Alfa Romeo Giulia, expect the car to be smaller and lighter.

So what would it be an all electric Challenger? :p

Yeah, that's actually along the lines of what I was thinking... something the polar opposite of the Demon... so a Prius or Tesla 3 competitor??
