Infiniti has provided a sneak peek of a high-performance concept version of the Q60.
Dubbed the Q60 Project Black S, the sports coupe was developed in conjunction with the Renault Sport Formula 1 racing team. Featuring a dual-hybrid powertrain, the concept is equipped with an energy recovery system (ERS) that charges a lithium-ion battery pack using electrical energy produced from braking and the exhaust.
Infiniti says that the Q60 Project Black S is a “radical reinterpretation” of the Q60’s design and will be used to “gauge potential public interest in high-performance derivatives” of future models.
The Infiniti Q60 Project Black S concept will makes it global debut at the Geneva Motor Show.
