Subaru Teases Sedan Concept For Tokyo Motor Show

Subaru will be leveraging next month’s Tokyo Motor Show has the venue of choice for a new sedan concept. The company will preview its future lineup with what it calls a sporty sedan using the Viziv Performance Concept name.

The naming convention comes as no surprise. Intended as a combination of “innovation” and “vision,” Viziv has been a badge utilized on a few recent Subaru concepts to show off the brand’s future. Aside from the name, details are still fairly scarce here.

Subaru has two new sedans coming up between now and 2020. One is an all-new Legacy, the other is a new WRX. Given the sporty intentions of this concept, it is probably a safe bet to say this one is previewing the WRX. The teasers sort of vindicate that assumption as well.

The official photos show off a muscular design theme and lower ride height. A new take on Subaru’s front end design is also obvious from the head-on teaser.

Subaru has confirmed nothing more on the concept thus far, other than to say the Viziv will feature new electronic driver aids. The rest will have to wail until October 25th when the Tokyo Motor Show beings and the cover will come off this latest concept.

Impreza has only been out like 6 months.

    Impreza is even more recent.

Legacy/Outback came out in 2014. Subaru has been doing a 4 year product turnover as of late, so it should be the next Legacy/Outback.

Legacy was fairly recent right? So I am guessing this will be the Impreza
