Over the course of the last week, we’ve been opening up membership to those who have expressed interest in the site in the past. This invitation-only process is not only designed to reward those who have inquired about the site, but also part of our testing process.

At its core, AutoVerdict is a deep integration of Word Press and vBulletin forums. This custom approach has allowed us to resolve many of the issues that other automotive enthusiast sites have had. That said, I wanted to reiterate a few points so that our earliest users can get the most out of the site.

Profile Editing

We strongly encourage you all to customize your site profile. This can be done by clicking your name either on the front end of the site (such as the homepage) or by clicking your username on the forums – both are located on the top-right of the screen in the header.

Feel free to post comments to articles on the Word Press or forum side. Posts to the forum are automatically integrated into the Word Press comments side of the site. This is ultimately done so that casual users who aren’t necessarily hard-core enough to engage on the forums can still comment on the front-end of the site. Here again, this is a very custom approach that hopefully provides casual (say normal car buyers) an avenue for participation that does not intrude on the enthusiast forum.

If you have any questions, feel free to let us know! You may post it on the forum or contact one of us privately. We’ll do our best to incorporate feedback into the successive versions of the site!

Just as a reminder, check your equipment in order to prevent any data loss. Another forum you're familiar with was struggling with that. Entire months worth of comments would be unable to be read & aggregated for viewing.

Otherwise, it feels good to check out the forum.
