The Beijing Auto Show is quickly turning into one of the biggest shows in terms of new intros that we have seen in some time. Enter the Infiniti QX Sport Concept.
The QX Sport is the first true Infiniti crossover to carry the brand’s “Powerful Elegance” design language (we are not countering the QX30 as it is just a lifted Q30).
The QX Sport is the first Infiniti vehicle to be designed in China at one of its four global design studios.
The concept clearly showcases a new model for the luxury brand, but we are not exactly sure where it will fit. Hopefully it is a replacement for the old QX50, which has been produced since 2007.
There is no word on the powertrain or on the platform it rides on.
With it being shown in China, one would bet the production model will be produced in China through Dongfeng-Nissan.
The concept will be presented to the press on April 25th.
