Infiniti has announced that the QX30 crossover will be priced starting at $29,950 when it arrives at dealerships in September.
Available in six trim levels, Infiniti says that the all-new QX30 was “created to make a bold visual statement” and features “dramatic curves and turbulent, sculpted character lines.”
While Infiniti was responsible for designing the QX30’s exterior and a large proportion of its interior, the crossover is a product of the global technology-sharing partnership between the Renault-Nissan Alliance and Daimler.
Manufactured in England, the QX30 uses the same chassis and powertrain as the Mercedes-Benz GLA, with the 2.0-liter, turbocharged, four-cylinder engine, transmission, all-wheel drive system, suspension and multilink setup all sourced from Daimler.
The QX30 is set to compete in the luxury compact crossover segment, targeting the Audi Q3, BMW X1 and Mercedes-Benz GLA class.
