Mitsubishi Teases Plug-In Hybrid SUV Concept

Mitsubishi will be leveraging the upcoming Tokyo Motor Show to display an all-new plug-in hybrid SUV. The Japanese automaker has published a preview of the new concept to generate buzz.

Not a lot is known about this concept, but Mitsubishi said in a press release the concept will, “allow drivers of all abilities to confidently push further over the unmade or rough road surfaces when engaging in outdoor activities”

The teaser shot itself does not confirm much, other than the fact this is most certainly a concept. The photo depicts the rear quarter panel of the concept, which shows off a fairly sloped rear with carbon fiber accents and some very concept-centric vents that likely serve to cool the vehicle’s battery.

Expect additional details to trickle out about this concept as we near the time of reveal, which is slated for October 23rd.
