Mercedes has just released teasers of its 2017 E-Class Estate with a couple of pictures and a video ahead of the June 6th reveal. The latest E-Class Estate is pictured on a beach with a wave concealing all but a portion of the D-pillar.
The E-Class Estate is expected to largely resemble the sedan body style, especially from the front view. At the rear, we will see a unique exterior design. Judging from the teaser pictures, the E-Class Estate will take its inspiration from the C-Class Estate.
The important feature of any station wagon is luggage capacity. Even though the German carmaker hasn’t announced any details, reports suggest that the executive station wagon will have reduced capacity compared to its predecessor as a result of the more stylized rear-end. We hope that the capacity will still remain larger than the Audi A6 Avant, BMW 5-Series Touring and the Volvo V90.
The 2017 E-Class Estate will have the same engine options available as the sedan, including an AMG variation.
The station wagon body style of the E-Class could reportedly spawn an all-wheel-drive crossover to be named the All Terrain.
