Mercedes-Benz has offered up its first official glimpse at the upcoming redesigned CLS Class. As expected, the car appears to sport an all-new look with a more dramatic design theme than the 2018 S Class.
The most notable change for today’s CLS is the lighting. Today’s teaser shot showcases a new hockey-stick shaped LED accent, which is a different spin on Mercedes’ traditional LED treatment. The overall front end design also appears similar to recent concept vehicles from the brand, such as the Concept A.
Expect even more changes to the CLS Class when it comes to hardware. A new lineup of engines is likely to make their way under the hood, while the latest tech in the Mercedes portfolio will make its way to the CLS as well.
All remaining details on the CLS will be revealed in a couple weeks at the Los Angeles Auto Show on Nov. 28th.
Update: Mercedes-Benz has now issued an additional teaser of the CLS. This time, a close-up shot of the instrument panel shows further ties to the S Class.
