Mercedes-Benz Previews EQ Concept

Mercedes-Benz has confirmed plans to reveal a new concept vehicle later this month at the Frankfurt Motor Show. If the released interior shot of this concept proves anything, it is that the concept is believed to preview the brand’s upcoming EQS flagship electric sedan.

So far Mercedes isn’t saying much, other than releasing a teaser sketch that shows a fairly large sedan. Couple the sketch with the above interior shot, which also appears to be a big, luxurious sedan interior and it is easy to assume this is an EQS Concept. The interior appears to be a minimalistic design, similar to other recent Mercedes concept vehicles.

The EQS is expected to be one of Mercedes’ upcoming battery-electric models that will launch sometime in 2021. Rumors suggest the electric sedan will offer over 310 miles of range and an AMG variant that offers more than 590 horsepower.
