Mercedes-Benz Collection Subscription Begins Trials in 2 U.S. Cities

Mercedes-Benz is officially throwing its hat in the vehicle subscription game. The German luxury brand has announced plans to trial a new Mercedes-Benz Collection subscription program in Nashville, Tennessee and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

The general workings of Mercedes-Benz Collection is similar to other vehicle subscription services. Consumers will select a package for a fixed monthly price to gain access to Mercedes-Benz vehicles. The monthly price will include insurance, registration and vehicle maintenance.

Mercedes-Benz has not offer much in the way of detail regarding their new program. They have only confirmed plans to offer multiple tiers of subscription service, each providing access to difference Mercedes-Benz vehicles. The brand has also confirmed all tiers will offer at least some AMG vehicles.

Pricing for the service has not been announced. Similar services provided by other luxury automakers range $1,800 to $3,000 per month.
