Kia Continues GT Striptease

Today Kia continued to tease their upcoming rear-wheel-drive GT car with another video. This episode of the striptease is focused on the car’s exterior, which looks rather sexy if we’re going to be honest. Still officially unnamed, the car is rumored to be called the Kia Stinger.

Regardless of what it may be named, the car clearly looks heavily influenced by Kia’s former GT Concept. The sportback design is similar to that of an Audi A5 or A7 based on the video, meaning this is probably going to be a very unique looking Kia product.

The sexy design is going to be riding atop a shortened version of the platform that currently underpins the Genesis G80 and G90, while at least one powertrain will include a twin-turbocharged 3.3-liter V-6. Although details are surprisingly still scarce on this car, Kia has confirmed a zero to 60 mph time of 5.1 seconds. The car has also been spied testing on the famed Nürburgring in Germany.

Nonetheless, the remaining details will be revealed officially on January 8th just ahead of the Detroit Auto Show. Though it’s probably a safe assumption that Kia will continue to trickle out details of the car in the coming weeks until the reveal.

    I'm getting bored ..

Kia should just hold off and show the car ...

These leaks by manufacturers are a bit lame...
