2019 Kia Sorento Revealed After Going to Hell

Kia has decided to take the cover off the revised 2019 Sorento SUV. This version, revealed for global markets earlier this year, is styled to be more SUV-like in appearance. The SUV stance is not just for looks apparently, because Kia says this Sorento “devoured” a 6.5 mile stretch of Hell’s Gate outside of Moab, Utah.

Given this is primarily a grocery-getter for suburban families, it is a bit bizarre that Kia took the new Sorento rock-climbing in Utah. Nonetheless, that’s the headline from Kia here.

Aside from climbing rocks, the new Sorento has been restyled to fit in with the latest Kia design theme. This means a new grille and new headlights have been adapted to the existing Sorento’s sheetmetal. Although no interior photos have been released yet, revises inside are also expected similar to that of the international version.

Expect all the remaining details on the 2019 Kia Sorento later this week when the brand reveals it fully in Los Angeles.
