Jaguar has issued another teaser to preview its upcoming XF wagon. Known as the Sportbrake variant of the XF, the wagon will utilize the same aluminum body as the sedan version when it is fully revealed this summer.
With the XF Sportbrake Jaguar is expanding its lineup to compete with the likes of the BMW 5 Series Touring, Mercedes-Benz E-Class Estate and Volvo V90. To maintain competitiveness, the XF Sportbrake will likely feature the same powertrains as the sedan version, which means a 2.0-liter turbo-diesel, turbocharged 2.0-liter gas engine as part of the Ingenium engine family and a twin-turbo 3.0-liter V-6 at the high-end.
Thus far it isn’t known if the XF Sportbrake will arrive in North America or not. Nonetheless, we’ll all know more when the car is officially revealed this summer.
