We’re now living in an era in which the tweet of an automotive CEO becomes news. Well, at least that seems to be the reoccurring trait with Tesla founder Elon Musk. The serial entrepreneur tweeted earlier Sunday that he’s working on ‘part two’ of Tesla’s top secret masterplan.

The exact tweet reads, “Working on Top Secret Tesla Masterplan, Part 2. Hoping to publish later this week.”

Given the subject, it’s probably anyone’s guess as to what the masterplan is at Telsa. However, there’s no question that the Silicon Valley firm needs some guidance after a battle-fought few weeks recently. The company has come under fire from investors regarding their high-priced acquisition of SolarCity, a maker of solar panels in which Musk is chairman.

Investors have also become shaky due to recent NHTSA investigations surrounding the company’s Autopilot functionality on its vehicles. On May 7th a Tesla Model S crash resulted in the fatality of the driver while the Model S was operating with Autopilot engaged. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.

NHTSA has also opened an additional investigation into the crash of a Tesla Model X in Pennsylvania on July 1st. Tesla has stated they have no evidence to believe that Autopilot was part of the incident, but the federal regulatory agency is proceeding to investigate.

Nonetheless, it sounds like we’ll be hearing more about Tesla’s future later this week.
