Alfa Romeo Giulia, Stelvio Recalled Over Brake Issues

Alfa Romeo has to walk a fine line when it comes to product quality, and this isn’t likely to help their cause. The Italian automaker is recalling a few Giulia and Stelvio units because they may have contaminated brake fluid in them.

Specifically, the company wants to inspect about 307 vehicles that were produced from Nov. 13th through 23rd. It is possible there are more than 307 vehicles impacted, but those vehicles would be outside of the U.S.

Alfa says the contaminated brake fluid could ruin the braking system, degenerating its performance. Given the importance of brakes, Alfa is going to be having dealerships throughly inspect the braking system on these cars and conduct a total replacement if deemed necessary.
