Hyundai will take the cover off its next-generation Santa Fe SUV next month. The reveal will come a bit ahead of its schedule auto show debut in Geneva. This will mark the first all-new Santa Fe since 2006.
As a means of building interest in the new Santa Fe, Hyundai has released the above official teaser shot of the new SUV. The teaser actually gives us a pretty good view of things, including the fact the Santa Fe is most definitely borrowing some of its design cues from other recent Hyundais, such as the Kona.
Hyundai has slotted in slimmer headlights up front that flank what appears to be a large grille similar to the Kona’s face. Although the more mature Santa Fe has smoother body lines and a more conventional shape versus its youthful sibling.
So far we don’t know much about the new Santa Fe. Hyundai says it will encompass the latest technology, including new active safety features currently omitted from the aging model. It is also possible the new Santa Fe will grow in size a bit to allow for three rows of seats, but that nugget isn’t confirmed just yet.
