Opel Teases Mysterious Future Product

Now fully under the control of new French owner PSA Group, Opel appears to be nearing the reveal of a future product. The company teased a mysterious new product on its official Twitter account, but details have yet to be offered.

For a teaser, the shot actually reveals quite a lot of about this product. The entire front clip is visable in the shot and is indicative of that of an SUV or crossover in some capacity. It’s possible this vehicle is Opel’s upcoming flagship SUV, which will join the Mokka X, Garland X and Crossland X as the capstone of Opel’s SUV lineup. The flagship is supposed to be based on PSA’s EMP2 platform and share some components with the Peugeot 5008.

There are other theories for the mysterious vehicle in the teaser. It could also be an all-electric vehicle of some kind, which has also been rumored within the Opel world recently.

Regardless as to what the vehicle is, it clearly is sporting an evolved version of Opel’s design theme. It’s more angular appearance is a slight departure from other recent Opel products, but the overall graphic is still offering a family resemblance.

At this time it is unclear when we’ll hear more about this mysterious vehicle.

Oh will Opel stop with it's lame teases of it's even lamer concepts.

I think I hold Nissan in a higher esteem (and I loathe Nissan entirely nowadays) than I do stinking Opel...from Opel's awful and boring designs to it's wonky German engineering what is there to like about Opel?.
Looks to be a crossover. Must be the flagship.
    an O'Cactus?
Is this something left over from GM or is this going to be the first full PSA project?
