Apparently the special edition vehicle craze is not exclusive to the U.S. Holden has announced a new “Black Edition” Commodore for the Australian market. The upgrade will be available on sedan, sportwagon and ute versions starting this month.
Basically buyers who opt for the Black Edition get unique 18-inch wheels, a black spoiler and other slight modifications to the exterior styling. Holden has put some substance behind the option package as well, because it includes popular features like satellite navigation, active park assist and heads-up display. The Black Edition package can be added to any SV6 or SS-V model.
Holden says the package only adds $1,000 to the price tag, meaning this special edition trim may not be too bad of a value for those interested.
