While the 2019 Chevrolet Silverado has formally bowed, it’s GMC Sierra cousin is still a mystery. Well, the mystery will reported end on March 1st, when GMC will reveal the 2019 Sierra at an event in Detroit.
Details about the event and truck are not yet known. It is expected the 2019 Sierra will sport a design more unique from its Chevy cousin than today’s models, but the unique look will be wrapped around innards that are shared between the two trucks.
Expect to see the same 5.3-liter and 6.2-liter V-8’s that are found in the 2019 Silverado. It is also expected that the Sierra too will gain GM’s new Duramax 3.0-liter diesel six-cylinder.
All remaining details will likely remain under wraps until the reveal on March 1.
