Chevrolet has released a dark teaser shot of a concept vehicle it will show later this month in Shanghai. Dubbed the FNR-X, the concept looks remarkably production ready and likely serves as a follow up to the 2015 FNR Concept the brand showcased in Shanghai.
Thus far there isn’t much known about the FNR-X Concept. If it is indeed a follow up to the FNR Concept, it’s certainly bound for production. The FNR Concept was an outlandish, future-forward vehicle.
Rumors flying around suggest this vehicle will be all-wheel-drive and feature some form of a plug-in hybrid. CarNewsChina reports that the FNR-X Concept is indeed previewing a future Chevy model for the Chinese market; one that will slot between the Captiva and Equinox crossovers.
The concept will also feature an autonomous drive system that adjusts the car’s behavior based on the driver’s mood. Needless to say, we’re eager to hear more details about that system.
Expect all of the details on the FNR-X Concept once it debuts later this month at the Shanghai Motor Show.
