Chevrolet has launched, a new lifestyle-oriented website specifically dedicated to the Spark minicar, Sonic and Trax small SUV.

According to Steve Majoros, Chevrolet director of cars and crossovers, the Spark, Sonic and Trax “all target a younger, more socially savvy buyer. When we looked at reasons for purchase, cross consideration and demographics, we found a number of similarities. By aligning these products we can be more strategic and create more engaging, sharable content that speaks directly to this audience.”

Chevrolet will use the new site to provide content that is aimed towards younger buyers. The site includes “Small Talk,” a collection of video episodes produced by Funny or Die that feature the three vehicles.

Industry demand for subcompact cars has declined in recent months as a result of reduced gas prices and burgeoning sales of crossovers and SUVs. Through April of this year, sales of the Spark have dropped 36 percent to 8,237 vehicles, while the Sonic is down 11 percent 17,729 units. Sales of the Trax for the first quarter of 2016 reached 18,237 units, an increase of 39 percent over the same period a year ago.
