Cadillac has confirmed plans to reveal its upcoming three-row crossover SUV at next month’s North American International Auto Show in Detroit. Known as the Cadillac XT6, the new model will fill the void between the smaller XT5 and the Escalade.
The XT6 will share its platform with other GM products, such as the Buick Enclave and Chevrolet Traverse. Its shared bones mean it will be produced at GM’s Spring Hill, Tennessee assembly plant, which produces the smaller XT5 and the GMC Acadia.
Aside from its name and platform, there isn’t much known about the upcoming big Cadillac. Insiders have suggested its design will be heavily influenced from the Cadillac Escala Concept, which also served as the inspiration for the 2019 CT6 and XT4.
The 2020 Cadillac XT6 will debut on January 13th in Detroit.
