Images depicting the 2020 Buick Regal have leaked out in China. The images show off a Regal that is slightly revised from today’s car, including a revised front fascia.
The images, first obtained by Auto Home China, originate from the Chinese government, which is a consistent source of new vehicle leaks. Said images show that the 2020 Regal is receiving thinner headlights and a revised fascia with a larger grille opening. Around back the car appears to have new taillights, but the rear fascia appears unchanged.
These design changes align with those found on recent spy shots of the 2020 Opel Insignia, which is retaining its GM bones despite Opel now being under the ownership of PSA Group. PSA Group still manufactures the Regal for GM.
GM has already published the order guide for the 2020 Buick Regal. While it does not explicitly mention a refresh, these changes are so minor it isn’t surprising the company didn’t bother to line-item the changes in the order guide. No other major changes are slated for the 2020 Regal.
