The 2018 Buick LaCrosse Avenir will cost buyers at least $45,795 when it goes on sale next month. The top-shelf sedan will serve as the second Buick model to get its new Avenir sub-brand treatment.
In base format, the LaCrosse Avenir is pulled by the front wheels. Buyers can opt for all-wheel drive, which brings the total price to $47,995, both prices include destination charges.
Currently, the LaCrosse Premium model serves as the top-end version of the sedan, which starts at $42,095. Both Avenir and Premium models are equipped with the same 3.6-liter V-6 and nine-speed automatic transmission.
The Avenir premium yields buyers unique appearance materials, such as a more detailed grille design. Inside, Avenir models offer more premium materials, while features such as a panoramic moonroof and surround sound system are standard.
Buick launched its new Avenir sub-brand with the 2018 Enclave, which command a similar premium over normal Enclave trim levels. Buick is hoping to replicate the success of the GMC Denali lineup by driving higher transaction prices for models that offer an Avenir option.
