Dodge has been talking about a prospective widebody Charger for awhile now, including showing a concept of it back in March (shown above). However, a new video released by the automaker this week seems to confirm a Charger widebody is coming to production.*

The short clip showcases a Charger under a cover, but the video does a close-up confirming it is a Charger SRT. The veil then starts to pull off the car just as the video ends - such teasers.*

Nonetheless, bulging fender flares are apparent in the video, albeit you have to be quick to notice. The bulges are likely 3.5-inch extensions to house* massive*20x11-inch wheels with 305/35-size tires.*

Sadly it doesn't sound like this widebody Charger is going to offer any additional power. This means buyers will likely be able to add the widebody to the existing SRT lineup, with the maximum power output being the current Charger SRT Hellcat with 707 horsepower.*

The Charger widebody is expected to be a 2020 model. Dodge says to expect additional details this coming Thursday, so we don't have to wait long to stop speculating.*
