Many automakers have teased or announced their planned reveals for next week's Los Angeles Auto Show. However, Volvo is taking a different approach this year by not bringing a single vehicle to display in their booth at this year's show.*

Volvo is actually blaming show organizers for its reasoning to not display any vehicles. In recent years the L.A. show has rebranded as Automobility L.A. to be more all-encompassing to the concept of future mobility. It's a trend that has permeated several industry shows and conferences.*

So instead of vehicles this year, Volvo will have a grand display that says "This is not a car" and feature a host of interactive displays to help have a conversation about the future of mobility. An interesting concept, to say the least.*

Needless to say, we don't have to worry about any new Volvo products being introduced at this show.*
