    Infiniti Teases Unknown Concept

Infiniti has dropped a teaser image of what it says will be a new concept vehicle revealed next month in Detroit. As is sometimes the case with teasers, this one is equipped with little to no information accompanying it.*

As seen from the image, we can see that this looks like a pure concept versus a thinly disguised future production model. Through a statement, Infiniti has referred to the concept as "compact."

"The new INFINITI concept car will take the traditional sedan architecture to its next stage of evolution. A shift toward smarter, more compact and less intrusive powertrains; we were able to create an alternative form with flowing gestures, more engaging in character and more enriching in experience. With its long cabin, balanced proportions and muscular stance, the concept heralds in a new era for INFINITI models," stated*Karim Habib, Infiniti Executive Design Director.*

The company's statement also certainly implies this concept is packing some new type of powertrain. Our best guess is that it is an electric vehicle of some kind.*

Nonetheless, we'll have all of the details on January 15th when Infiniti formally reveals the unknown in Detroit.*

Considering how the grille area is solid I wonder if it will showcase some sort of EV technology.

    ya know... ... ...
plenty of Fomoco vehicles have much smaller openings than the "apparent" grille-shapes.
Wonder if styling will start "pretending" to look EV even for petrol-versions?

Well it's just like the original Taurus you actually don't need much of an opening because it got it's cooling from below. 92 Crown Victora was like that as well but only for that year they added a grille in 93 tho it still acted the same for cooling.
