2018 Ford Mustang GT 10-Speed Fuel Economy Revealed

Few details remain when it comes to the refreshed 2018 Ford Mustang, but the car's fuel economy is a mystery now solved. Thanks to the window sticker popping up online, we now know that the Mustang GT equipped with the new 10-speed automatic.*

The enthusiasts over at*Mustang6G*found the window sticker of a 2018 Mustang GT equipped with Ford's new 10-speed automatic. The sticker shows EPA fuel economy ratings of 16 mpg city and 25 mpg highway, yielding a combined rating of 19 mpg.*

The new rating is a really minor improvement over the 2017 Mustang GT and its six-speed automatic, which was rated 18 mpg city and 25 mpg highway. If 1 mpg of improvement seems minor at best, it is worth remembering the 2018 GT has seen a sizable power bump as well.*

Mustang GT's 5.0-liter Coyote V-8 is rated at 460 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of torque; an increase of 25 horsepower and 20 pound-feet over the 2017 model.*

The 2018 Mustang GT will head into Ford dealerships later this year with a starting price of $33,995 for the coupe and $45,495 for the drop-top version.*

City is actually worse if the outgoing one was 18 city vs 16 city on the new one.
