    (MAHWAH, NJ) – August 1, 2017 -- Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC today reported July 2017 U.S. sales: Jaguar sales were 3,166 units, a 7 percent decrease from 3,398 units in July 2016; Land Rover sales decreased slightly to 5,915 units, down 2.6 percent from 6,075 in July 2016; Jaguar Land Rover July U.S. sales for both brands hit 9,081 units, a 4 percent decrease from 9,473 units in July 2016. Year to date, Jaguar Land Rover is up 15 percent in the United States, ahead of 2016's record sales year pace.

    “We are pleased that despite a slowdown in the broader market, Jaguar and Land Rover just missed last year's record July sales, and are up 15% over 2016's record full year pace," said Joe Eberhardt, President and CEO, Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC. "With the first half of the year behind us, we are focused on launching three new vehicles, the Land Rover Discovery now in its second month at retail, the Range Rover Velar in September and the Jaguar E-PACE next winter."

    U.S. BRAND HIGHLIGHTS
    Land Rover
    For the month of July, Land Rover sales hit 5,915 units, the second best ever July sales month for the brand.
    The Range Rover had its best July sales month since 2013 with 1,414 sales, up 21 percent from 1,164 units sold in July 2016. The Range Rover Sport was the volume leader with 1,447 units sold.
    The Discovery Sport achieved its best ever sales month with 1,272 units sold, up 9 percent from 1,163 units sold in July 2016...

    Jaguar
    For the month of July, Jaguar sales were 3,166 units, a 7 percent decrease from 3,398 units in July 2016.
    The Jaguar XE and F-PACE both had the best July sales month ever, with the Jaguar XE hitting 744 units and the Jaguar F-PACE hitting 1,748 units sold. The Jaguar F-PACE, which recently won two titles at the 2017 World Car Awards, continues as the brand’s volume leader for the month...
