All-New Mini Countryman Looks Awfully Familiar

BMW Group's Mini is going back to the design well again for the all-new Countryman as it always has done for the brand. Even though the design is remarkably the same as the last, Mini has made some significant changes internally.

For starters, the 2017 Countryman finally comes with proper seating for five. The new vehicle is also 20 cms longer, which should help legroom.
The new Countryman will also come with a feature seen in old BMC Minis, a cushion on the tailgate, which is designed to help load and unload in addition for seating.

The biggest news comes from the powertrain offerings. The Countryman will now be offered as a plug-in hybrid, which undoubtedly is a similar unit to the one shared in BMWs.

The Countryman will hold its global launch in Los Angles. Sales will start for Europe in February 2017. More information should be available close to the global unveiling.

It took nearly 500 years for English to fully slit as a separate language from German...so probably that long.
