New Ford GT Variant Teased

Well this is unexpected. Ford Motor Company has just dropped the above teaser shot of a new variant of its Ford GT supercar. The new GT will be revealed at the upcoming Goodwood Festival of Speed.

Unsurprisingly, Ford is not saying much of anything about the car. The automaker simply said, “Ford will make a special Ford GT supercar announcement during a dedicated press conference from 4:45 a.m. EDT, July 4, at the 2019 Goodwood Festival of Speed.”

There’s really only a couple obvious items to gleam from the teaser. Clearly this GT has a huge ass wing mounted on the back; a race car-like wing. There’s also a roof scope, which is not found on the current production variant of the GT.

Clearly Ford has something up their sleeve involving an even more powerful GT. We will have to wait until July 4th to hear more.
