Ford has unveiled the upscale Vignale version of the Kuga crossover for Europe. The Vignale treatment includes such things as two-hours of polishing by craftsmen to ensure the paint is the perfect finish, because everyone wants that on their crossover.

Like the Mondeo, S-Max and Edge Vignale, the Kuga has a bit of a unique look from the more pedistran versions of the crossover. The exterior features a unique hexagonal grille and dark gloss and chrome finishes throughout the exterior. Tying it all together is an exclusive pearlescent Milano Grigio paint job.

Inside there are more hexagons – embossed in the Windsor leather seats. Even the dash panel is wrapped in real leather and largely hand-inspected by the personnel at Ford’s Vignale Center in Spain. The entire Vignale lineup is Ford’s answer to the luxury market in Europe, where the company’s Lincoln brand does not operate.

“Our Kuga Vignale speaks directly to the growing trend for luxury SUVs and represents the very best of Ford with premium design, materials and craftsmanship,” said Roelant de Waard, vice president, Marketing, Sales & Service of Ford Europe. “We see great potential to extend the top end of our Ford product range and offer a special experience that meets the growing expectations of our customers.”

European customers will be able to get their hands on the unique Kuga Vignale later this year.
