2020 Ford F-Series Super Duty Tremor Offers Winch Option

The 2020 Ford F-Series Super Duty Tremor will be able to pull itself out of trouble. Ford announced today it plans to offer a factory-installed Warn winch on the new Tremor off-road focused Super Duty.

This isn’t some tacked on winch, either. Ford says this Warn unit has a custom cradle and mounting bracket so that is rests behind the Super Duty’s steel bumper. The only visible sign of the winch is a blue synthetic cable that hangs out of the bumper opening.

Ford says the winch will be able to pull up to 12,000 pounds, which should be more than enough for Super Duty owners to pull themselves out of just about any situation.

Super Duty Tremor buyers will be able to option the Warn winch on either the 7.3-liter gas V-8 or the Powerstroke 6.7-liter turbodiesel. The winch can be dealer-installed or factory installed (if ordered with the truck).

Regardless of when the winch is installed, Ford says it is a $3,000 add-on to the Tremor. Mind you, the Tremor off-road package itself is an extra $3,900 over all the base trim levels.

The 2020 Ford F-Series Super Duty Tremor will go on sale this summer.
